Huntershill Village is also home to memorials of both local and national historical importance, there is a cairn in memory of 18th century political reformer, Thomas Muir of Huntershill and a memorial to his fellow martyrs' in the name of political reform as well as a coal hutch dedicated to the Miners of the World.
Huntershill Village was established in 1995. The vision was to develop a site where local start up & developing businesses could grow and establish themselves. It has grown over the years to a business hub with over 50 businesses serving the local community.
